With  a background in Stand Up Comedy, Ron- Rocket known on stage- is ready to take his energy and ideas to a new level. Like most comics starting off , he began at the local clubs on amateur night. It was not until he enrolled in the B.C. Festival Of The Arts  where he  made some strides. From there life took him to Kelowna B.C. He became the “local Comic” at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club. Entertaining the masses was exciting and fulfilling.

Lately, Ron has continued working on his Stand-Up routines and also working in Vancouver’s busy Film Industry. Appearing as a Background Artist in such film’s as: Shooter and The Day The Earth Stood Still.

A Stand-Up Comedian and football fanatic plans to explore his dream of attending as many football tailgating parties as possible. With all the wild fans in a frenzy, will they let him in?

Tailgating before a football game started to take off during the 1980’s and 1990’s as a social movement of sorts. As gas grills became more portable, rows of parking lots transformed into communities. These “communities” transformed into rivalries between fans of the different teams.

As your host, I am planning to go to various football games in different cities to join the pre-game festivities know as tailgating. Tailgating consists of barbequing, eating, drinking, playing music and having a great time. For some this is more fun than attending the game itself.

My role is to crash the party. Get an insight as to why they do this and how much fun it can be. It’s an addiction of sorts. Players strive for success on the field, the fans strive for success before the game in the parking lot. I will strive for success and bring it all home for the viewers.
