Time is Running Out on GLASS RECYCLED White Sale and Free IPad2© Offer

GLASS RECYCLED January White Sale

Plano, TX (PRWEB) January 14, 2012

GLASS RECYCLED – the Texas-based firm that uses recycled glass products to create stunning materials for residential and commercial use – announces that time is running out on their January White sale – a special promotion that offers a 20% discount on select items and a free IPad2© with each order placed by January 31.

According to Tim Whaley, company founder and inventor of the firm’s patented process of using recycled glass products to create beautiful and eco-friendly kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, flooring, walls and more, “January is a great time to plan for new projects and remodeling. So we thought a White Sale was the perfect opportunity for designers, architects and homeowners to try our product. And with the recent unveiling of our GlassSTORE and Designer Showcase to create custom samples, the IPad2© makes it even easier to discover all our products whether at home, at a clients office or on the go.”

For details on the White Sale including available products, colors, and specifications, visit http://glassrecycled.com/january-white-sale. The White Sale offer is good on any custom combination using the firm’s bright white base. Considering there are a number of glass, porcelain and mirror chip color and size choices, hundreds of final color choices are available during this special offer. Countertops and bars are a perfect fit for GLASS RECYCLED products, but designers can also custom create tabletops, desk and just about anything imaginable with this exclusive GlassSLAB product line.

The average Glass Recycled countertop ‘upcyles’ or reuses 750 discarded items – crushed and combined with a durable epoxy –to create a work of art that is easy to install, requires no seal, emits no toxic fumes and requires virtually no maintenance.

Just as durable as granite but offering a variety of additional benefits, GLASS RECYCLED’S recycled glass countertops are made from a combination of recycled glass, porcelain or mother of pearl colors and a terrazzo-like epoxy that can be matched to any Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore paint color. The company’s website or Plano showroom has hundreds of color samples or one can design their own – taking any guesswork out of their final product

Dream it, achieve it may sound like a familiar statement, but with GlassSLAB countertops it really is true. To be able to match anything the mind can conceive and not be restrained by the short list of color choices that granite or terrazzo offers is a fabulous feature of the product. In addition, helping the environment by alleviating landfills of thousands of pounds of un-used glass daily makes GlassSLAB a great opportunity in kitchen countertops, restaurants and bars and more.

In addition to GlassSLAB for countertop use, the firm has created three additional sub-brands including GlassPLANK is the company’s unique flooring and wall panel products, GlassDECOR that can be transformed into uniquely designed interior products such as table tops, glass panels, ceiling tiles and other imaginable applications and GlassSCAPE – which is loose, bagged recycled glass and porcelain aggregate product that can be used as a permanent and beautiful alternative to groundcover, mulch or used in fountain and aquariums.

Mohair International Weaves Together Baby Mo and Hinterveld, Delivering More Fine Mohair Gift and Decor Items to AmericasMart in Atlanta

Boston, MA (PRWEB) January 13, 2012

Lindy Lieberman arrives at AmericasMart with more mohair decorating options than ever before by joining her hand-loomed South African items – sold under the Baby Mo label (http://babymo-usa.com/index.htm) – with four exclusive lines from Hinterveld, a renowned maker of yarns and woven goods. The combination is Mohair International, (http://www.mohairinternational.com) with offices outside Boston.

“Hinterveld’s forward looking designs include beautiful lustrous colors plus advanced manufacturing technology that delivers quality and quantity that means we can supply larger retail stores,” Lieberman says. “Together, we bring a unique mix of textures – the best yarns and weaving – to create remarkable throws and blankets and a range of other items.”

The combination adds four new product ranges from Hinterveld (http://www.hinterveld.com), she adds, including bold stripes and subtle geometric patterns updated for contemporary living. Choose from vibrant contrasting colors, gentle earth tones and modern block and stripe patterns. One collection includes herringbone patterns in yarns that combine Merino Wool and superfine Kid (baby) Mohair (http://www.babymo-usa.com/html/about.htm). Some of these distinctive items add the convenience of being machine washable. They add creative comfort and style to indoor and outdoor use.

South Africa’s heritage and color palette are evident with pastels that reflect the region’s natural environment, hues from plants such as the fynbos play with deep chocolates. Designed for year-round use, these blankets and throws ‘breathe’ to keep your body cool in warmer weather and cozy insulating layers in winter.

Named for South Africa’s grassy plains, Hinterveld is part of The Stucken Group, an international leader in mohair since 1951 and parent company of Mohair Spinners of South Africa (MSSA). The companies supply yarns to both Hinterveld and Baby Mo. Lieberman, a South African native, began importing mohair goods more than a decade ago for her successful interior design business, Lifestyle Living Spaces. She later started a company to distribute Baby Mo items to more than 100 North American shops and boutiques.

Kid mohair – often called baby mohair (http://babymo-usa.com/about.htm) – comes from the first shearing of Angora goats less than a year old. South Africa produces the majority of the world’s baby mohair and weaves it into soft, luxurious décor items, clothing and accessories. The results are lightweight, packable, wrinkle-free and uniquely warm. Lieberman’s repertoire include wraps, throws, blankets plus clothing, hats, mittens, scarves and more.

Baby Mo (http://babymo-usa.com) crafts handmade items with complex, vibrant and alluring colors. Hand brushing and finishing creates a cloud-like texture and the fluff that distinguishes mohair from other woven goods.

Mohair International will be at AmericasMart Building 2 West Wing-High Design, Booth W1-0523 starting Friday Jan 13th. the company also appears at The NY International Gift Fair in Booth 8022 on Jan. 29th.

MOHAIR INTERNATIONAL is the leading importer of South African mohair products. Both Hinterveld and Baby Mo woven and knitted throws and blankets are unrivalled in color, quality and design. These high-quality luxury goods provide economic opportunity for women and unique craft goods that make outstanding gifts and home décor selections found nowhere else.

and I’m requesting the info right now.
but it gives to program choices…interior design and interior design with foundations for design?
Whats the difference?
which oen do i choose? I only want to be an interior designer.

Best answer:

Answer by John J
Foundations of Interior Design balances the theory of interior design with its practice as an applied art, combining real-life examples with a historical and conceptual look at design theory. In some courses it is an equivalent to years 1&2 of BA Honors Degree. Also look at the the entry reuirements for the courses to see if you need a pre-req.

It all depends on what the school describes as the courses.
